Description
SignalWire's core Rails application - a large-scale SaaS platform comprising marketing pages, a customer-facing dashboard, an internal admin interface, and RESTful APIs. The platform manages everything from user authentication and billing to telecom resource provisioning across multiple subdomains.
Contribution
Adapted to a completely new tech stack (Ruby on Rails) and began contributing within the first few weeks.
Built a full CRUD module for config variables with filtering, ownership tracking, and unit tests.
Developed a voice call insight dashboard with interactive charts for call quality metrics.
Implemented scope validation for Fabric APIs with comprehensive test coverage.
Optimized slow ClickHouse database queries in the daily rollup pipeline.
Integrated PostHog for feature flag management, including early access feature evaluation at the project level.
Contributed rate limiting improvements and various bug fixes across the platform.
